so t0day was the day

SugarLoaf Headwaiter

n the best thing was i woke up late!!!

w0ke up 1 hr late, shocked me awhile

so i ended up taking cab to sch

arghhh ... c0st me $15

wasnt feeling well also ... n initially wanted to pon

but went i think back

i cant. c0z i cant let my asst head run the place alone

as all the informations are wif me

n i cant let the team down

or else everything will be screwed up

i didnt say that i'll be the best headwaiter

but at least i try my best not to let things screwed up

the weather was against me also

was praying hard tat it wont rain

n yes it didnt .. thank g0d

then at 730am

went to find mR. malik

t0gether wif yiting(ahw),winnie, zihui
thx to winnie knocking like some gangster on the d0or

get me into trouble

mR. maLi* opened up the d0or

n sh0ot me, " do u nEed to bring ur gangsters d0wn to0"

n i went -.-

even before we start operation i was already perspiring

c0z we neEd to put d0wn all the chairs

as we will be having out test there

then proceed back for gr0oming check

saw mR. zaina* n he gave mE tat

orh-u're-headwaiter-for-today-n-i-

apparently-noe-wats-ur-thots-on-ssm

c0z he g0es blog hooping on us

early through the operation

was feeling giddy coz u noe im not feeling gd

only winnie noe abt my condition

so, while the first team were having their break

i went out

n all those ppl having their break quickly feed me with their fo0d

lolx .. thankz so much winnie, jeremiah etc ..

it was v funny

c0z firstly i was playing wif fire

n also playing hide and seek as mr. maLi* was over at the bar counter

n can directly c thru' the window

jus in case he caught me eating

im in dead shit!!

hahahaa ...

serious speaking

being headwaiter is quite fun in sugarloaf i mean

coz basically u do nothing

jus tat u have to be on ur toes always

n jus pray tat nothing major prob screwed up

there's actually this customer complain

but when i told him i will have his meal changed

he said its okay

pheww ~~

the v first challenge was when i found out that

one of my staff was on mC w/o informing me or yiting

was quite pisSed off

thank g0t she wasnt in major postion

2nd incident

was when my cake counter staff dropped a few cakes

n apparently i was there n i saw it

and im jus waiting for him to shout for me

but thank g0d he didnt

phew~~

n the best thing was

i have another 'extra' staff wif me

c0z i was glancing ard to see whether everything runs smoothly

until my eyes stopped at the hot counter

guess wat ?

i saw mr. nE* standing there

n selling out the food

i went 'huh .. wat is he doing ther .. wher is my staff??'

before he screams my name

i quickly asked yiting to take over the counter

n guess wat she said to him,

"mR. nE*, c0me let me take over ur position"

n i went, " wth"

n mR. nE* went. "huh. wat u say?"

wakakaka

sales was quite bad actually c0z not much of a crowd

so, i ended up send half the team out for outd0or sales

i send 7 teams out tats makes

only 10 ppl running the whole restaurant

n i think we did well enough to cope wif tat manpower

c0z i told yiting

tat we need to cover up for some of the postitons

so, yea everything went gd

i was quite blur to0 n i was helping out as waiter

supposely all glasses are to be sent to the bar

but instead i went to the steward

didnt notice tat mR. mali* was behind me

n thank g0d when i wanted to pass the glass

he reminded me tat it was suppose to go to the bar

n he continue,"u are already at half way mark"

n went," huh ..? to0k the glass n lo0k at the half way mark (of the glass)"

n lo0k at him confused

n so he said again," ur sales la, wat are u thinking?"

n i replied," orhh i thot u are talking about the glass (half way mark)"

n he laughed

wth?!?!

overall conclusion

being a headwaiter, u need to be always on ur toes

plan and organise ur roster well

it also means tat u will be the waiter.captain.counter staff.host.

every single postion

u need to noe every single job scope

n also wher are the equipments being placed

being observant and meticulous in every single detailed

ability to instruct ppl wat to do

even though its ur fren

ability to take a risk

anyway, i've learnt alot being a headwaiter

i thank whoever did appoint me tat post

even though didnt managed to hit the target sale of $1600

our sales was $1474

i was quite satisfied with our overall performance

n at least we broke the outdoor record of $600

we hit $606

n the best thing, i didnt get screwed today

even though he t0ld me in the morning briefing

tat im gonna get smashed by him

hahaha

n the funny thing,

i almost forget to remove the headwaiter tag

until yiting reminded me

so when i return him the tag he said

him: eh, i thot u want to keep ? keep la ...

me: dun want la .. for wat ??

him: i promise u tat u will be the headwaiter for top table

me: huh? dun want la ... n y me ??

hahaha ...

m0st prob wont .. c0z the roster are all out wat ...

lastly, i wanna thank my sugarloaf-ians crew

for running the whole restaurant smo0thly

n hopefully our bonding will remind strong for the next 7 weeks
